  • Donating to Local Colleges & Schools

We recently donated lots of different building materials to Waltham Forest College from our office in Walthamstow.

This ranged from brand new fire doors, to concrete, to paint, to ironmongery, coat hooks, hinges, handles etc.

We hope the college finds these items useful!

  • Warburton Terrace - Completed!

We recently completed our Warburton Terrace project and handed over the keys to Waltham Forest Housing, making it our 17th site to be handed over to the council.
The Warburton Terrace project consists of 27 houses and 16 flats all for affordable rent.

We hosted a completion ceremony in July with the client and key stakeholders to celebrate.

Congratulations to the team for the successful handover!

  • Leaving a legacy

    Gardening in Lloyd Park, Walthamstow

This November, we returned to Lloyd Park with nine members of our team to help out the local community with gardening.

Lloyd Park Is one of the Boroughs most renowned and best loved landmarks, housing the William Morris Gallery. Over two wintery mornings, our team got stuck into weeding and clearing the park, contributing to maintaining it for the community to enjoy.

Our Operations Manager, Paul Goodrich said "As a team, we are keen to do what we can to support the local community. Our volunteers were glad to be able to support such an important landmark, and at the same time, benefit from the team working, outside of our normal working environment. We look forward to supporting similar projects in the future"

  • 275 Wood Street - Opening Ceremony

ENGIE successfully completed construction of the site and handed it over to Waltham Forest Council on 4th October 2018.

We hosted an opening ceremony on 16th October 2018 with 30 people in attendance from Waltham Forest, SixtyBricks, NPS & ENGIE. The afternoon was a great success with speeches from the Mayoress and Cllr Louise Mitchell, we then proceeded to the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Residents had even started moving in that day, so seeing and hearing everyone’s positive reaction to the site was truly fantastic.

  • Retingham Way - Drainage Wroks

We will be connecting the new foul drainage from the new flats to an existing foul sewer outside the site boundary. The existing foul sewer drain is located in the garden of 19 Retingham Way and we are in separate communications with the resident/owner of this property. So that all residents are aware, the footpath towards the school and park will have limited access. It will be shut between 9:00am -3:00pm for us to carry out the drainage works, which will start on Friday 20th April and take approximately two weeks to complete. The attached drawing shows a dotted red line across the footpath to the existing foul sewer drain; shown as “Existing MH”.

Engie would like to take this opportunity to apologise to any residents of Retingham Way that may be affected by this interruption and would like to reassure all residents that we will aim to keep any disturbances to a minimum.

  • Millfield Avenue - Car Removal
