  • Millfield Avenue- Introduction Letter

We write with reference to the ongoing development work that Engie is undertaking in partnership with the London Borough of Waltham Forest to provide new homes across the borough.

My name is Brooke Rutherford and I am the Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) for the program of works at the above site. I can be contacted on the above numbers to assist with any queries you may have, and to hear your comments regarding the works.

Outlined below are a list of key points relating to the program of works.

    • The project will see the development of 1 house for council rental.
    • Our working hours will be Monday – Fridays 8:00am – 5:00pm with no works over the weekend. However, in the event of any changes to this schedule, I will keep you informed.
    • The development works are expected to start in Monday 23rd April 2018.and should take 30 weeks.

I would like to thank you for your patience and apologise in advance for any inconvenience that our work may cause.

  • Warburton Terrace - Update

As I am sure you are aware, works are now in full swing on the site and we have completed nearly all the entire substructure, foundation works.

In order to commence with the main Frame of the apartment blocks we will need to have what is known as a self-erecting tower crane at each end of the site.

The first of these will be delivered this Friday, 09th March ‘18 and will be situated at the north end of the site – the end that is adjacent to Drayton Lodge.

This will require having several large deliveries which will have to negotiate their way down to our site entrance on Warburton Terrace from Sturge Avenue, Spruce Hills Drive and St. John’s Road.

If possible, we would appreciate if vehicles were parked away from the junctions of the approach roads so that it maximises the turning circle for our vehicles.

Once again, we have booked these deliveries in for after 9am so that anyone who drives to work will not be affected. We aim to have all deliveries completed by 4pm before the end of the working day.

If you have any queries relating to the current works or if you experience any problems please contact your Resident Liaison officer, Brooke Rutherford, on 07768 025 129

  • Leaving a legacy

    Leaving a legacy

Nine members of our team in Waltham Forest braved the December weather to volunteer at Lloyd Park in Walthamstow.

Lloyd Park Is one of the Boroughs most renowned and best loved landmarks, housing the William Morris Gallery. Over two wintery mornings in December, our team got stuck into weeding and clearing the park, contributing to maintaining it for the community to enjoy.

Our Operations Manager, Paul Goodrich said "As a team, we are keen to do what we can to support the local community. Our volunteers were glad to be able to support such an important landmark, and at the same time, benefit from the team working, outside of our normal working environment. We look forward to supporting similar projects in the future"

    Hi

There will be road restriction on Friday 19th January between 9:30am – 5:00pm at Lucerne Grove, due pouring of the 5th floor concrete slab. If you need to use your car during the time of the concrete slab then we would advise you to move it the night before so you don’t have any issues on Friday. This is weather dependent.

In the event of an emergency service, we will be ready to move all vehicles to aid access.

  • St. Georges Court

St Georges Court- Car Park Update.

We will be working on the car park area outside our site entrance.

We are going to close our pedestrian access onto site but before its closure we will need to construct the planned footpath on the opposite side.

The construction work will commence on the 15th January 2018 starting with the Pedestrian Walkway to the shaded area in green and blue on the site plan.

To complete the work we will have to reduce the current levels next to 285 Wood Street. The construction will involve excavating plant positioning on the current roadside between the hours of 8.00am until 5.00pm until the work is completed. This will mean that any car wishing to leave for any part of the day will be required to do so before 8.00am.There will be no access to and from the car park area between the hours of 8.00am until 5.00pm.

On the 22nd Jan 2018 the complete area shaded in red on the site plan will be closed to the residents. It will be the final stage of our current project to install seventeen car parking spaces of which two are disabled bays.

I would like to thank you for your patience and apologise in advance for any inconvenience that our work may cause. If you have any questions regarding the works please contact your RLO, Brooke Rutherford 07768025129 or 02082346713
