EQUANS support more than 120 school children with a series of employability workshops

Across the entirety of one day in February, EQUANS staff worked in partnership with ELSA Next Generation CIC to support several schools within Clarion's catchment areas to deliver a series of employability sessions and workshops. A day where more than 180 year 11 students visited six different employer workshops and more than 130 year 12 students were challenged in five employer workshops.

Year 11 students at Stevenage SEC received an 'Aspiring Careers' morning and mock interviews and a World of Work event was delivered to students at Chancellors School in Hatfield.

EQUANS Quantity Surveyor, Paula Sanderman also joined pupils for a careers talk to discuss her career journey within the construction industry and how the industry has changed for women in construction.

"Thank you so much to all your amazing volunteers, pupils were engaged, inspired and energised after working with your staff!" Jane Shipley, CEO, ELSE Next Generation CIC
