Works will include the installation of energy efficiency measures and other internal improvements to homes.In order to complete this work, EQUANS has been instructed to carry out some/all of the following to your home:<ul><li>Loft Insulation</li><li>External Wall Insulation</li><li>Cavity Wall Insulation</li><li>Internal Wall Insulation</li><li>Replacement windows and doors</li></ul>Your home may have also been selected for additional works by Thirteen, this will be fully discussed with you at your induction with your Resident Liaison Officer.We will work closely with Thirteen to keep you up to date with every element of the works process and ensure you have plenty of information available. We want to make sure you always feel comfortable with what is happening in your home.It is expected that the works will commence June 2022 and take approximately four months to complete all 57 homes. Your Resident Liaison Officer, George Wright will be available to support and answer any questions you might have throughout the course of the works.On this site, you&#39;ll find information about the project and who to contact should you need extra assistance. Newlon - Coppermill Heights

<img src="https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/ehq-production-europe/e411076f21f29b59cd59754c55f77a26319b3a9b/original/1654788017/eeecb2308c62588043e629356861bdc7_YHNxEQUANS.jpg?1654788017" style="width: 502px;" class="fr-fic fr-dib">In partnership with Your Homes Newcastle (YHN), EQUANS worked in the Denton Park House and Hilltop House tower blocks in West Denton as part of a &pound;3.8m project to completely remove the old gas-powered central heating system, and replace it with Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHPs).GSHPs work by drilling holes deep into the ground and harnessing natural heat from the earth by pumping water through pipes that are buried in the ground. The heat pump then increases the temperature, and the heat is used to provide home heating or hot water. The benefit to residents are lower energy bills and a reduction in the carbon footprint of both blocks, thanks to the complete removal of the old gas system.That&rsquo;s coupled to a smart thermostat from Switchee, which allows residents to control their heating with precision, meaning that heating and hot water is matched to the way that they live.

EQUANS (previously known as ENGIE) has been selected by Enfield Council to deliver works to properties at Great Cambridge Road, which includes extensive external refurbishment works.
