Following consultation with the local community throughout 2019 and 2020, Manchester City Council recently approved plans submitted by ENGIE and Landcare (East Manchester) Ltd, to transform a former industrial site in the Miles Platting area of Manchester, into a low carbon, mixed-use community with 410 new homes.

The proposals for land, at Coleshill Street, includes 8,8055 sqm of open space and courtyards, seamlessly combining sustainable design with digital infrastructure, smart homes and quality public realm. The £80m scheme will include a wide range of homes from one-bedroom apartments to three-bedroom houses, creating a multi-tenure neighbourhood with approximately 50% of all units designated as family homes.

    Manchester City Council has approved an £80m regeneration plan for a mixed-use community with 410 new homes at Coleshill Street.

    The regeneration plans submitted by ENGIE and Landcare (East Manchester) Ltd, part of the NPL Group aim to transform a former industrial site into a low carbon, mixed-use community at Coleshill Street in Miles Platting.

    The proposals for Coleshill Street include 8,8055 sqm of open space and courtyards, combining sustainable design with digital infrastructure, smart homes and quality public realm.

    Thank you to everyone that took the time to attend our 'Community Engagement Afternoon' on 17 June 2019 on the former Manox Works site.

    The event gave us the chance to speak to lots of local residents and businesses about the proposals.
