Throughout the work your Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) will be your first point of call for any queries or concerns that you may have. If you are in any doubt about the identity of any people on site, please do not let them into your home. Contact your RLO to check they are who they say they are.

Question - How we will protect the property from the rain & what will happen if property gets damaged?
- Building will be protected from the rain by using fire rated Monarflex where required.
- Any damage caused to residents’ homes will be rectified without cost to the resident.
Question – How will dust be controlled as I have open windows?
- Dust extraction tools will be used; we will communicate with you around any special requirements that you have.
Comment – Noise in the block really travels around it, please beware.
- Response – We will be carrying out noisy works & will liaise with you regularly.
Question - Do I have to let you know if I’m going away.
Answer – Yes please, please inform Nepa as resident profiling stage.
Question - A requirement of the BSF states that scaffolding must be well underway by the end of September to secure the fund, is this on track?
Answer – Yes, there is no problem with the BSF reported for this block & scaffolding is well underway.
Question - Is there an update of the Waking Watch?
Answer – ENGIE are working towards providing this service for Optivo in the near future which will be done with a handover from the existing
Question – Is the OOH’s covered by another builder as there has been problems reported elsewhere?
Answer – The OOH’s is ENGIE.
Question - How will we manage drafts & heat loss?
Answer – We will strip the render to reveal any issues in the building face & repair, then install insulation to reduce heat loss. We will also supply oil filled radiators if residents require them for use.
Question – How will you deal with works on balconies if lots of items on them?
Answer – Balconies will need to be cleared to carry out the works, we will liaise with resident on an individual basis.
We're pleased to have now completed the initial site set up including the heras fencing and staff welfare facilities and are moving forward to the main Construction Phase.
From mid August to early September, we will be erecting the scaffolding, starting with the front elevation of the building, before moving on to erecting the gantry, hoist and resident respite facilities.
